Private operations application

Project communication and scheduling, with controlled Google access.

Nessara Office is the private workspace used by authorized Nessara Construction staff to manage jobs. Connecting the approved Google account lets the app send project email, detect replies without reading message bodies, and keep Office scheduling connected both ways with the account owner’s primary Google Calendar.

Why each permission is requested.

The connection accepts one server-configured Google account and an exact three-scope permission set. A different account or a different set of permissions is rejected.

Send project email.

Office uses Gmail to send owner-reviewed estimate and invoice emails with their PDF attachments, selected document attachments or photo links, and configured follow-up messages from the connected account. An owner can include a Google review request with a completed job’s final invoice. The recipient, subject, message body, and any attachment bytes and filenames are sent to Google only when an authorized Office action or active follow-up rule calls for delivery.

gmail.send

Recognize a reply.

Office checks Gmail history, message and thread identifiers, labels, and selected headers. It records a reply only when the Gmail thread exactly matches an estimate or invoice message sent by Office. It does not request or store the reply body or attachments.

Keep Office and Google Calendar connected.

Office imports appointments from the connected user’s owned primary calendar, including appointments created outside Office and personal events kept on that calendar. Titles, descriptions, locations, dates, and times are visible to authorized Office users. Office can create appointments and edit or delete eligible ordinary events organized by the connected account, including an individual recurring occurrence. It checks the event’s current version before changing it, and Google schedule changes also update Office. A subcontractor is invited only when the owner selects that option for the individual Office assignment; the appointment editor does not add attendees.

The connection has a narrow boundary.

Google access supports Nessara’s job administration and a combined schedule. Office reads primary-calendar appointments even when they are unrelated to an Office job. It is not used to browse email bodies, build advertising profiles, or train a general-purpose AI model.

  • Reply monitoring is metadata-only and forward-looking from a saved Gmail history point.
  • Calendar work is limited to the connected account’s owned primary calendar. Appointments organized by other people are view-only; recurring series and special Google event types must be managed in Google Calendar.
  • Contracts and invoices are owner-reviewed. Office can issue a locked invoice PDF and email it with an online link after the owner reviews the message. Owners can share selected job photos or a document through a link that expires and can be revoked; anyone with that link can access the selected files while it is valid. The Text option opens the device’s sharing or messaging interface so the user can choose the destination and complete the send. Office does not send SMS itself or provide e-signatures, payment links or payment processing, or accounting sync.
  • The Google connection can be revoked from the Google Account permissions page. Revocation stops new access but does not automatically delete imported appointments or other retained Office records; local removal requests can be sent to Nessara Construction.

Authorization stays with the account owner.

Google handles the sign-in and consent screen. Nessara Office never asks for or receives the Google password. The Office owner reviews the requested permissions before approving access, and access can be revoked at any time.
